FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What kind of games can I play?

The Apex Pocket comes pre-loaded with 20,000+ retro games spanning 40 classic consoles — PlayStation 1, Super Nintendo, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo 64, Sega Mega Drive, Arcade, PSP, Nintendo DS, and many more. Everything is ready to play out of the box — just power on, pick a console, and start playing.

02 Can I save my progress?

Yes. The Apex Pocket has a save state feature built in — save your game at any point and resume exactly where you left off. No progress lost, even if you switch to a different game in between. You can also create multiple save slots per game.

03 How does multiplayer work?

Connect two Apex Pockets together and play head-to-head or co-op on classics like Mario Kart, Street Fighter, Tekken, and Bomberman. You can also connect the console to any TV via AV output for a full big-screen retro experience. Grab a 2-pack or 3-pack and you're ready to go — one for you, one for the squad.

04 Is it beginner-friendly?

100% plug and play. No setup, no downloads, no tech skills needed. Power on, browse the menu, pick your game — that's it. The interface supports 100+ languages and everything is organized by console for easy navigation. If you've ever used a TV remote, you can use the Apex Pocket.

05 Can I add more games?

Yes. The Apex Pocket uses a standard 128GB microSD card — just connect it to your computer, drag and drop your ROM files into the right folder, and they'll appear in the console menu. You can also swap the card for a larger one if you want even more storage. Tutorials are available on YouTube in under 5 minutes.

06 How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 24–72 hours and delivered in 7–14 business days across Europe and the US — with full tracking included. Shipping is free worldwide. For EU orders, all taxes and customs fees are included — no surprise charges at your door.

07 What if my console arrives defective?

Contact us and we ship a replacement immediately — no lengthy procedures, no back-and-forth. Every console comes with a 1-year warranty (extendable to 2 years), 14-day easy returns, and support in English & French with a response within 24 hours. One email, and we take care of it.

08 What's the difference between the packs?

Every console is identical — same specs, same games, same 128GB card. The only difference is quantity and savings. The 1-pack is for you. The 2-pack saves you on the second console — perfect for playing with a partner, a sibling, or a friend. The 3-pack is the best value — ideal for families or gifting. Pick a different color for each if you like.

I absolutely love it. It brings back memories right from the very first minutes. The platform games from my childhood run perfectly, without any lag. And you can set it to whatever language you want :)

New Apex Pocket

I was looking for a unique gift for my son and came across the Apex Pocket. Honestly, I didn't expect to get so hooked on it myself! The games are perfectly emulated, there are no bugs, and the controller feels really good in your hands. We spent the whole weekend playing multiplayer fighting games. It's like a real time machine.

The white version is absolutely gorgeous. As soon as I turned it on, I rediscovered games I thought I’d forgotten forever. The picture quality is stunning. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s nostalgic for the ’90s.

New Apex Pocket

The Apex Pocket is simply magnificent. I was blown away by the picture and sound quality. All the games from my childhood are there, perfectly emulated. I spent an entire night replaying RPGs that I had given up on 20 years ago. It’s a real treasure.

New Apex Pocket

I ordered this for my husband, who’s a big fan of retro gaming, and he’s over the moon. The white Apex Pocket is really pretty and fits perfectly into our decor. It’s easy to pick up and play right away—no manual needed. The racing and fighting games are particularly well emulated.

New Apex Pocket

I hesitated for a long time before ordering, but I have absolutely no regrets. The purple console is gorgeous, and the games are of remarkable quality. I've rediscovered some RPGs I loved as a kid, and I spend my evenings playing them. Playing multiplayer with my wife is a real joy—we laugh like kids.

The game catalog is huge; I found some hidden gems that I thought were lost forever.

Marlon 5/5 Verified August 4, 2026

New Apex Pocket

Unbelievable. I rediscovered games I hadn't played in 25 years, and the excitement was just as strong as ever. The black console is sturdy and well-built. The multiplayer mode let me share these memories with my kids, who loved discovering these classics. A truly exceptional product.

Thimoté 5/5 Verified July 30, 2026

New Apex Pocket

Overall, it's a great console. The black version has a nice finish, and the games run smoothly. I would have liked an even larger selection of games for certain specific consoles, but overall it's an excellent retro experience. The multiplayer works well—we've had some great evenings playing together.

Mohamed 5/5 Verified July 22, 2026

New Apex Pocket

I'm happy with my purchase. The Game Boy is beautiful, and the games run smoothly on the emulator. A few lesser-known games are missing from the catalog, but all the classics are there. The local multiplayer is perfect for family game nights.
